Paul Brinkmann
Paul Brinkmann - a business journalist who has spent ten years covering the most exciting business news in Florida -- from SpaceX and new satellite factories, to breaking news about Universal's new theme park, to covering billion-dollar fraud schemes in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. As a blogger who also loves in-depth investigative work, Brinkmann's major stories have included coverage of the Claudio Osorio "Haiti Homes" fraud in Miami and annual "deep dives" on the Central Florida economy with compelling tales of local people who were trying to land jobs. He was one of the first to write about the new high-tech BRIDG manufacturing research center in Osceola County. He appeared on CNBC's 2015 airing of "Charity Begins at Home", an account of the Osorio fraud, and he's been a guest on CNN, NPR and PBS on national broadcasts about the Pulse nightclub tragedy. Most recently he had a cover story in Orlando Weekly about a Central Florida entrepreneur who sells vape mods and runs a vape lounge.
